All the videos are up from the four day USDAA trial hosted by Haute/TRACS.

A word of note, recently I had really beefed up the compression which resulted in really nice looking videos. But a good segment of viewers have computers that can't watch them at full speed.

So over the weekend, specifically Saturday morning I decided to back down on the compression so more people can enjoy the videos. This also has the added benefit that if you play the vidoe in QuickTime you can go through frame by frame with the arrow keys.

Agility Video Service is extremely happy to annouce that we will be providing complete coverage of the AKC / USA Dog Agility World Team Tryouts on May 2-4, 2008 being held in Hopkins, Minnesota. Approximately half of the gross reciepts will be going directly to support the team.

What is Power Paws Live? It is the latest brainchild of Nancy Gyes. It can be summed up as "Dog Agility Training Videos on demand. I'm really excited about the whole project and think it has a ton of potential.

The dog agility videos are up from this weekends AKC agility trial held at Woodley Park on March 22-23, 2008.
I have once again tweaked the video compression settings. The videos are now significantly larger, 960x540 pixels to be precise. And they will play on AppleTV, the preferred way to play the videos on your television. To get the full effect play the videos full screen by clicking the little icon between the percent played and volume controls.

Over the years I've had frequent requests to restrict access to the videos. Since I've moved the video library to the new website I now have much more access control. I am now offering private videos on the website.

I haven't had a chance to put together a formal calendar of upcoming trials I'll be at. So this page will serve an an interm page.

I'm always trying to make the agility videos better on Agility Video Service. I hear that it bothers some people that things are always changing. Maybe the old saying is true, "No pain, no Gain".

I have now bumped up the video encoding to it's maximum compression. Things like "Rate Distortion Optimization" and "Subpixel Refinement Quality". And if you watch the videos from this weekend I think you will agree they look awesome. This comes with a price. The videos will not play on a iPod, AppleTV and just barely in QuickTime.
