Hi, I am Eric Larson. I have been involved with dog agility since 1999. My first agility dog was my Pembroke Welsh Corgi Pluto. I recently went to the dark side, and "upgraded" to a Border Collie named Bree. Agility Video Service started with the mission "Saving the World from Bad Video!" Using superior video equipment and my extraordinary talent, I will give you the best dog agility videos yet! Agility Video Service launched in February 2003. I started with an average camcorder and 9" TV & VCR combo. Since then I have continously upgraded my equipment. Switching from VHS tape to DVD delivery; and now streaming video on the internet. My current video camera is a High Definition JVC GR-HD1 (which cost more than my car). I mount the camera on a high end tripod from an Italian company Manfrotto. The videos are encoded for DVD using Cinema Craft Encoder SP All the editing of the videos is done using a frameserver and scripting system called AVISynth. Currently the online videos are encoded in Real Video format. My greatest creation is this website Agility Video Service. com With the highlight being the video clip library of over 15,000 dog agility runs available for anyone to download and watch. My next project is Agility Vision. Here is more information on my video service for agility. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 1992. I am based outside of Los Angeles, California on the western edge of the Mojave desert in a little place called Juniper Hills. Enjoy your dog agility videos! You can contact me at email eric with any questions or comments. |
